NEW! Active Mail's Processing Rules engine now allows you to define flexible mail processing rules, allowing you to automatically download or delete messages based on the subject line, sender address, size and priority.

Reduce Communications Costs -- Active Mail's features include the ability to 'mark mails for download', the synchronisation of mail folders, and a mail download scheduler. Together these components allow users to update their mail box at off-peak hours. This includes the downloading of new mails, and any marked (large) emails thus realising significant savings in communications costs. The scheduler will also synchronise any folders that have been so configured.

Increased convenience -- Active Mail is a 'must-have' for any 9200 user with multiple email accounts. Active Mail allows you to easily manage multiple accounts, executing operations against multiple accounts with one command.

Automatic processing of urgent emails -- Active Mail's Notification Manager allows users to automatically process email notifications sent by their service provider over SMS (text message). Users can define rules allowing their Communicator to automatically connect to their email service provider to retrieve new emails, based on the sender and content of the notification. This is a powerful way to always have important emails downloaded as soon as they have been received.

Send e-mails quickly, cheaply, and easily with m-Mail -- Users can quickly respond to urgent emails by sending replies via the Active Desk m-Mail editor, which allows for the sending of emails quickly and cheaply without even needing to connect to an ISP.

Easy to use, familiar interface -- Active Mail provides a familiar interface, styled on the Communicator's built-in Messaging application. Active Mail can be configured to automatically start at system reset, and is linked to the 'Messaging' application button as a secondary application: Pressing the 'Messaging' button twice switches to Active Mail.

Automatic rule-based email processing -- Active Mail also includes advanced mail processing rules which allow users to automatically process emails based on the sender, subject line or priority. For example, a mail can be fully downloaded based on the sender information available from the mail header, or a mail can be automatically deleted based on the subject line. These rules further increase the convenience and cost savings as connection time is reduced.
